The listed Churches affirm the following doctrine as a minimum:

  1. That Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified, was buried and was resurrected to life again for the purpose of forgiveness of sin thereby making possible the free gift of everlasting life to those individuals who would believe in Him for everlasting life.
    (1 Cor 15:3-4, 2 Cor 5:21, John 3:16-18, Romans 3:24)

  2. That Jesus' love is for all individuals, that His provision of everlasting life is for all individuals, that all individuals have the free will ability to respond to His provision in belief and that He wills that all individuals would change their mind and believe in Him for everlasting life. That God has not elected or predetermined certain individuals to salvation (or reprobation) before the foundation of the world.
    (Isiah 1:18, Acts 17:26-27, John 3:16, 1 John 2:2, 1 Tim 2:3-4, 2 Peter 3:9, John 16:8, Romans 8:28, Eph 1:13)

  3. That an individual receives everlasting life through a moment of faith in Jesus Christ for everlasting life.
    (John 5:24, John 3:36, John 6:47, Eph 1:13-14)

  4. That no act of obedience or good works (turning from sin, baptism, submission to the Lorship of Christ, contrition, penance, etc.) are necessary addition to faith in Jesus Christ or condition of recieving the free gift of everlasting life.
    (Johan 3:10, Luke 16:31, Romans 4:21-22, Mat 21:28-32, Acts 19:4, Romans 4:5, Galatians 3:2, Titus 3:5, Eph 2:8-9)

  5. That a saved individual's behaviour is not necessarily evidence of one's possession of everlasting life but is rather a question of Christian maturity.
    (Gal 3:3, Romans 11:6, 1 Cor 5:1-13,1 Cor 6:1-20, 1 Peter 4:15-16, Php 3:1-10, John 6:29, 1 Cor 3:3)

  6. That a saved individual can have total assurance of their possession of everlasting life and that everlasting life cannot be lost.
    (Eph 5:1-6, Rom 8:29-30, Eph 4:30, John 10:27-29, John 6:40, Romans 8:38-39, 2 Cor 1:22, 1 John 5:10-13)

  7. That a saved individual cannot forfeit everlasting life by any means.
    (2 Timothy 2:13)

  8. That a saved individual has been saved for holiness and good works and therefore should do them.
    (1 Cor 3:12-15, Romans 12:1-2, Hebrews 12:14, Titus 2:11-14, 3-8, Eph 4:1-3, Mat 5:16, Eph 2:8-10, John 14:15, John 15:11, James 2:22)
